Gina
Feliciano, PhD, BCBA, NASM-CPT
Professional Experience: Immediately following her graduation from
Fordham University, Gina began a career working with children and adults of
varied physical, social, and psychological abilities. Building on this practical
experience, she then achieved Masters Degrees in Psychology and Education and
ultimately was awarded a PhD in Special Education from Columbia University with
a board certification as a Behavior Analyst. Several positions in educational
administration further enhanced her skills in education and teaching, performance
assessment, curriculum design and team development. Sixteen years of professional
and educational accomplishment has endowed Gina with an unsurpassed capacity to
measure, motivate, and educate individuals and organizations.
Athletic Experience: Gina’s passions extend beyond the
classroom. She is an avid endurance athlete with notable achievements
and podium finishes in races ranging from 5k’s to triathlons. She is a
multiple-time marathon and Ironman Finisher. Her dedication to sport is
defined by her boundless enthusiasm for learning new skills, exploring
the boundaries of her abilities, and meeting new and exciting people!

Motivation: Gina is committed to uniting her teaching
expertise with her joy for activity. Combining effective scientifically
derived educational and fitness practices, Gina will instill in children
the importance of an active, healthy lifestyle. Because she came to sport
later in life, Gina truly understands the value of creating a noncompetitive
atmosphere that fosters success and skill development as a means to building
fitness abilities and confidence. Her goal is to help children and their
families realize their potential not only as athletes but also as healthy individuals.
